Time Dealer

Slaves usually mean people who have lost their personal freedom and are driven at will by others to do things for them. This word will not appear in modern society. However, It took a different form and spread silently through the society. Time Dealer is a body of work that contains four 60*40 inch photograph works that try to awaken the primal nature of those who are lost in this jungle of concrete. In this series of photographs, I have designed some different scenarios to show the anxiety, powerlessness, and oppression of the workers. But people seem to get used to these negative feelings and start to compromise with their current working and living conditions. Those people are naked trees in the concrete jungle that have already been turned into a lumberyard. Their time is priced and they are cut down and taken away by eager buyers. This is a situation that is constantly happening today. Society looks like a dealer, people’s time is the only commodity.
